Common questions

I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password" and we'll email you a reset link.

How do I add my crew?
Owners open More, then Crew, and make a join code for each person. Send it by text. They tap "Join my crew" in the app and enter the code.

How do I change prices, warranty or payment terms?
Owners open More, then Pricing, or Warranty, payment & texts.

How do I delete my account?
Open More, scroll to Account, and tap "Delete my account." Your login is deleted right away. If you are the only owner, this also closes the company.

Can I get my data out?
Yes. Owners can save a backup or export houses from More at any time.

Something looks wrong on a quote.
Quotes already given never change when you edit prices. If a price is wrong, update the price on the house and have the homeowner accept again.

Privacy policy

PaveMapr ("the app") is made by AKZ LLC ("we"). It helps paving companies knock doors, measure driveways and give quotes. This page says what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain words on purpose.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name, email address and password (we never see your password; it is handled by Google Firebase Authentication), and your company's name and settings such as prices, warranty and payment terms.
  • Information about customers that you type in: homeowner names, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, notes, driveway measurements, quotes, signatures and photos. You decide what to enter.
  • Location: with your permission, your phone's location, used only to fill in the address of the house you are standing at and to show nearby houses. We do not track your location in the background.
  • Photos: only photos you choose to take or attach to a house.

Where it is kept

Houses, quotes, photos and measurements are saved on your phone. Company account information, including your crew list and your company's settings, is stored in your company's private account on Google Firebase (Google Cloud). As shared-crew features are added, house and quote data for a company account will also be stored there, visible only to people your company has invited. Your company can only see its own data.

How we use it

We use your information only to run the app for you: to sign you in, show your crew's map, price and print quotes, and send the texts and emails you ask the app to send. We do not sell your information. We do not show ads. We do not use your information, or your customers' information, to market to anyone.

Who else sees it

We use Google Firebase to sign people in and store company accounts. Satellite maps and address lookups are provided by Apple or Google when you use the map. We share information with these providers only as needed to run the features, and they act under their own privacy terms. We may share information if the law requires it.

Your customers' information

You are responsible for the customer information you enter and for following the laws that apply to your business, including rules on door-to-door sales, text messages and the three-day right to cancel. The app prints the cancellation notice, but you should confirm your state's requirements.

Your choices

  • Delete your account: in the app, go to More, then Account, then "Delete my account." Your login is removed immediately. Houses and quotes you logged remain with your company so its records stay whole. If you are the only owner, deleting your account closes the company.
  • Get a copy of your data: owners can save a backup or export houses from the More screen.
  • Location and photos: you can turn these off any time in your phone's Settings. The app still works without them.
  • Questions or requests: email [email protected] and we will help.

How long we keep it

We keep company information while the account is open. When a company is closed or an account is deleted, we remove the login right away and delete remaining personal information within a reasonable time unless the law requires us to keep it.

Children

The app is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections and access to each company's data is limited by rules in our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
